Esteem specialises in providing end to end IT infrastructure solutions focussed on reducing the total cost of ownership and generating return on investment. Typically Esteem customers are organisations with 250 plus employees.
Since its inception in 1985, Esteem Systems has experienced rapid yet sustained growth and now boasts a turnover of £30m. Supported by a £1m purpose build Head Office in Wetherby, and regional offices throughout the UK, Esteem employs over 100 members of staff and delivers IT solutions to both the public and private sector.
Esteem has received seven awards this year to date including the Yorkshire Post’s Yorkshire Technology Company of the Year Award; a Deloitte and Touch Fast 50 Award; two Sun Microsystems’ Awards including Reseller of the Year; Wyse Technology’s Reseller of the Year Award and two Citrix Awards. Esteem was also awarded the prestigious Investors in People Standard.
Esteem believes its success is due to the people it employs. Since 2001, the total number of employees has increased from 76 to a massive 109. At a time when the majority of technology companies were reporting disappointing results, Esteem reported its most successful financial year to date for the year ending June 30, 200,1 and the company invested an average of £1,850 on training for each member of staff.
In addition to experiencing a 300% increase in pre tax profit to £1.4m, and a massive rise in turnover from £15.6m to £27.25m, Esteem further demonstrated its commitment to its employees by spending in excess of £550k on profit related pay, bonuses and pension contributions.
