Huddersfield Choral Society

Founded in 1836, the Huddersfield Choral Society has developed an outstanding international reputation as one of the UK’s leading choral societies. The Choirs busy schedule is centred on, but not limited to, its own concert season in Huddersfield Town Hall in addition to their national and international performances at Cheltenham Music Festival and The Decades Project in Canada.

The Huddersfield Choral Society strives to uphold and continually renew the proud tradition of choral singing and bring this to a new audience, which is demonstrated in their development of their Junior and Youth Choirs. With a 200 strong member base, the choir has worked with a number of music professionals, including Martin Brabbins and Greg Batsleer, and continue to perform to audiences of thousands across the globe.
