Kell Brook

Kell was born Ezekiel Brinsly Reid Brook in May 1986 in Sheffield and his most recent success was to defeat Shawn Porter to win the IBF World Welterweight Championship at the Stub Hub Centre in Carson, California on 16 August 2014.

Brook’s first fight as a professional took place in September 2004 with a victory over experienced Peter Buckley at the Don Valley Stadium. He would fight again four more times that year to end 2004 with a record of 5-0 in just four months. Brook went about learning his craft before getting the opportunity in June 2008 to fight for the British Welterweight title having compiled a winning record of 16-0.

He was named Young Boxer of the year in 2009 and then went on to win various Continental and International Welterweight titles and now has an impressive record of 33 fights and 33 wins of which 22 were from knock-outs.
