Rosemary Shrager

Winner Rosemary Shrager jointly presented by Nadiya Hussain, winner of the Great British Bake Off 2015 and David Kelly Regional Production Manager, North Region (Leeds & Manchester) of QBE.

Rosemary is from good Yorkshire stock, her family being from Yorkshire and her mother’s family lived in Pickering. In 2002 she opened her Yorkshire Cookery School in Swinton Park, Masham where she lived until recently. A regular supporter of the Great Yorkshire Show, Rosemary has also raised money for a specialist Veterans training centre at Catterick.

Rosemary endeared herself to the nation in I’m a Celebrity! In November 2012 and has over a decade in broadcasting and teaching. She has featured in Ladette to Lady, Rosemary Shrager’s School for Cooks , The Alan Titchmarsh Show as well as This Morning.

Rosemary is a talented and versatile chef with a number of cookery books to her name including Rosemary – Castle Cook , described by food writer Michael Raffael as “an object lesson in handling the finest produce”, Rosemary Shrager’s School for Cooks published to accompany the series, Rosemary Shrager’s Absolutely Foolproof Classic Home Cooking as well as Food for Family and Friends and, of course, Rosemary Shrager’s Yorkshire Breakfasts which was published in October 2011.
