The 31st Yorkshire Awards were held in Leeds on 6th March 2020 and the winners of the 2019 Awards we honoured at a gala dinner organised by The Yorkshire Society.
For those who attended, it was a wonderful night with an insprirational talk by Archbishop of York, John Sentamu – there to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, and a side-splitting performance by Author and Poet, Yorkshire’s own, Milly Johnson.
The evening was closed with a performance by the Dales Community Pop Choir, winners of the Richard Whiteley Award.
Guests saw a brilliant video by and about each winner and these are now available for all to see on The Yorkshire Society’s You Tube channel HERE.
